There are particularly designated days for trash pickup within the Town limits.
- Monday- Business and Stillwell Park
- Tuesday- Lower End of Town to Greenbrier Hill. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th Street
- Wednesday- Business + 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th Avenue
- Thursday- Thomas Town, Smith Addition, Hamilton Hill, and Lake Street
- Friday- Business, Riverside, and Campbelltown
There are two pickups per year for large items other than household garbage. One is the 2nd week in April and the other is the last week in October.
Burning of leaves, trash, brush or other combustible materiel with the Town of Marlinton is prohibited. The Town office provides leaf bags and free pickup to anyone who lives in the Town limits.
The burn pile is open Thursday – Saturday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. This is for Town residents only and brush is the only thing allowed on the burn pile, no exceptions)
