Welcome to the Town of Marlinton Police Department. The goal of the police department is to insure Marlinton is a safe and clean community for all of its residents and visitors.
Subjects and violations we deal with include junk and abandoned vehicles, animals, signs, refuse, code compliance, nuisance violations, vacant and dangerous buildings, accessory structures and uses, building construction as well as demolitions.
There is a curfew from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m which means no one under 18 shall be allowed to remain in any public place in the town of Marlinton. Events should terminate after 10:30 p.m., if they do not, then the sponsoring organization needs to contact the Mayor’s Office of such activity.
Issues are often resolved in Town when neighbors discuss directly with one another. If you have a specific concern which cannot be resolved you can either call the office at Town Hall at 304-799-4315 or complete the Citizen Concern Form and return it to Town Hall.
The Marlinton Police Department’s highest priority is to maintain the safety and quality of life for all those visiting, working or living within the Town of Marlinton.
